A few things worth knowing.
What does a Trip Pass cover?
A pass is intended to cover one journeyβs planning, route calculation, bounded AI assistance and included active services, followed by its report and archive. Final price, active-service period, usage allowances and refund terms must be disclosed before purchase. Live sales are not open.
What happens when I complete a trip?
After pending observations are reconciled and you confirm final completion, the historical record is sealed and read-only. It cannot be edited, reopened, extended, tracked again, or used for live routing, weather, traffic, navigation or AI. Duplicate permitted content into a separately purchased trip to plan another journey.
Can I access my trips years later?
Retained completed records remain available in your free account without a mandatory subscription while your account and Journey Pilot exist. Your independently saved exports can be kept indefinitely. We do not promise perpetual hosting or ownership of third-party map data.
Can I export my trips?
Yes. Retained customer records can be exported without a renewal or export fee. Open JSON, GPX and GeoJSON preserve permitted itinerary and geographic data; PDF and ZIP support readable and bulk copies. Personal media and private documents are handled locally on your own devices.
Does it work offline?
Downloaded portable records can be read without Journey Pilot or a live map provider. Native offline itinerary, recording and map downloads are under development and need device validation. A saved route line alone is not an offline map or an offline routing engine.
Which vehicles and regions are supported?
The initial private field pilot is for motorcycles in Japan. Garage profiles can represent cars, campervans, RVs and EVs. Storing a profile does not establish validated routing support. Vehicle restrictions, surface coverage, charging and border checks remain explicitly unknown until validated.
What happens if I delete my account?
Account deletion removes access to hosted records and initiates deletion of owned service data, subject to disclosed retention requirements. Export anything you want to keep first. Original photos and iCloud files are not deleted by removing app references.
What if Journey Pilot closes?
Your downloaded customer records remain yours. If the service winds down, we intend to provide notice and a bulk export opportunity where feasible. Hosted access depends on service continuity. Licensed map data and live third-party services are separate from your own trip records.
